So what was today all about......

Two sessions

50 climbers

9 soft play

14 familes touch by HD

One visiting from hospital

5 with stomas

Children and young people from 6 months to 17 years

Hot and sticky, ice creams, fans and 26 walls. Leap of Faith, knocking knees and cheers.

This was a Sunday afternoon for HFC at Rock Up.

The purpose of today was to join families together to provide support and to allow children with Hirschsprungs Disease to meet and do ordinary everyday things with people who understand what it means to 'spring a leak' to need to know where the nearest toilet is. Why forgetting a change bag can have others saying I have a spare stoma bag if you need it!!!

It was great to see this bunch of children and young people enjoying themselves without having to explain the hidden condition that is HD.
