Jungle Jeans
So one chilly Saturday afternoon a few of us got together and had tea and cake at Jungle jeans in Southampton.
With about 10 children with Hirschsprungs the first tentative steps of Hirschsprungs Family Connections (HFC) where taken while children ran around a soft play centre.
It was a roaring success with children with HD meeting other children with the same condition for the first time. Children showing off their stomas rather than hiding them and parents being able to talk about poo to other parents who just got it.
From this humble gathering a committee was formed and HFC became official and the website you are now looking at is hopefully as informative as that first get together.
